Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken wings (about 20 wings)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups Jorge's Sonoran BBQ Sauce
Method
- Pre-heat convection oven to 350ºF (375ºF if oven is not convection).
- Rinse the wings thoroughly in cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with the vegetable oil and ample amounts of salt and pepper.
- Arrange wings, skin side down, on a pre-greased, rimmed baking sheet.
- Cook wings on the middle rack in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove wings and flip over to other side.
- Put wings back in the oven and cook for another 20 minutes.
- Remove wings from oven and toss with the BBQ sauce in a large mixing bowl. Coat the wings thoroughly with the sauce.
- Arrange wings on the baking sheet and return to the oven, cooking for another five minutes.
- Remove the wings, plate, and enjoy!
Serves six. No, who are we kidding, serves three or four tops!
